Welcome to VIA: A Journal of Undergraduate Research at SLU!

This journal arose out of a desire to recognize the quality and diversity of research done by SLU's undergraduate students, and it exists to provides the opportunity for students to publish their original, critical research projects during their undergraduate career at SLU. VIA exists to encourage students to pose challenging questions, pursue answers through research, and contribute to the academic conversations surrounding them. Because the journal is interdisciplinary, we accept submissions from any field.  It also includes the Senior Honors Projects from the Research-Intensive-English (RIE) program. Each graduating class of RIE students will have their work featured alongside the VIA pieces to showcase the SLU undergraduate community's research projects. VIA will publish a new issue each spring.
